Reeve - Glenn Goodfellow

Glenn was born in 1947 at Lashburn and was raised at SW 36-45-25W3M. He was a member of 4H, Air Cadets and enjoyed being on the school curling team. He was married to Betty Ann in 1976 and they were blessed with their daughter, Pam, in 1980. Glenn is an active member of the United Church Board of Stewards and the Neilburg Legion, serving as Secretary/Tresurer, President, Sargent at Arms and Zone Commander. He was also involved in 4H as project and club leader. He has been on council since 1993 serving as Division 5 councillor until 2008 when he became Reeve. Glenn continues to help our municipality grow by chairing several boards he is a member of, such as Northwest Heavy Oil, North West Municipalities Association and WYWRA. Glenn hopes to continue his involvement in the community and surrounding area to promote growth and prosperity to our municipality.

Division 1 - Trevor McCrea

Trevor has been the Division 1 Councillor since 2010. He has been the Deputy Reeve since
July, 2014. Trevor resides on SW 2-44-23W3M, South of Baldwinton, where he grew up and has farmed for 30 years. Trevor feels it is a great experience to serve on council and represent ratepayers. He would like to thank you for the opportunity.
Trevor became a councillor in 2010.

Division 2 - Tannis Chibri

Tannis grew up North of Lloydminster and attended Hilmond Central School, graduating in 2003. She moved to the Neilburg area in 2003, to where she currently resides with her husband, Mitchell, and two sons. Tannis and her husband own and operate Cool Zone Oilfield Services, as well as, a cattle and grain farming operation.
As a youth, Tannis was actively involved in 4-H and School Council. Currently she is a member of Marsden/Neilburg Minor Hockey and looks forward to the new opportunity serving as an RM Councillor.

Division 3 - Bernadette Poppleton

Bernadette was born in Neilburg and took most of her schooling in Marsden, completing Grade 12 in Bruno, SK. After high school, she attended the U of S in Saskatoon where she completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree. In 1984, Bernadette and Ian were married and since have operated a mixed farm, grain and cattle, southeast of Neilburg. They both have worked off the farm to supplement their farming income, Ian in the oilfield industry and Bernadette as a comptroller for a local farm supply business. For the past couple of years they have reduced their workload and concentrated on farming. They have three children, Christopher, Daniel and Kirsty.
Bernadette served on Council from 1993 to 2006 and rejoined the Council in 2012.

Division 4 - Darren Tyler

Darren grew up in the Carruthers area. He continues to farm there with his family, running a mixed grain and cattle operation. He was a 4-H leader for 15 years and enjoyed working with youth in that capacity. Darren believes it is a great opportunity to serve on the R.M. Council and is looking forward to representing his neighbors in Division 4.

Division 5 - Floyd Whitney

Floyd has lived in the Neilburg area since 1994. He has worked for Barry and Elaine Ducherer since 1997 on their mixed farm operation. Floyd married his wife Jessie in Neilburg in 2003, and has two boys, Devon and Kyle. He is an active 4H leader, and keeps busy watching his two boys play hockey. He joined council in 2014, as Division 5 councillor, and looks forward to this new opportunity to better his community.

Division 6 - Chip Chibri

Chip is married with three adult children and now grandchildren, he was born and raised, farmed and ranched in the Neilburg area. Chip has been involved with the community throughout the years, as a Kinsmen member, Minor Hockey board member, 4-H leader, and worked with the volunteer Ambulances services. He became councillor for Division 6 in 2014.
